Introduction Dialogue

  • Starts automatically when you travel to The Temple of Five for the first time, or after activating Elemental Gauntlet quest in Esert Village.
  • No elemental Goblins are given for the Elemental Gauntlet quest, and the last line says Defeat the Wood Elementalist 3 times..

An old man with a bushy white beard and mustache strides toward you from across the camp. He is coated with a layer of dust, but his smile is clean enough.

Earth Elementalist:

Welcome, stranger! Old Enrick sent word that you would be arriving! Let's not waste any more time, there's a rebellion afoot!
Everything in this world is bound to the elemental planes of FIRE, EARTH, METAL, WATER, and WOOD. Each has it's own strengths and weaknesses in relation to the others.
For example: Fire can easily scorch Wood and melt Metal, but it can also be doused by Water or smothered by Earth.
Here at our humble temple, you will spar with masters representing each of the five elements. You must learn their weaknesses in order to defeat them and progress through your training.
To begin your tests, use these elementally enchanted Goblins as the leaders of your group. Only the correct elements will be victorious!
Your first opponent will be the Wood Elementalist. If you find yourself caught in her vines, remember that plants wilt in the heat or can be cut by the blade.

You have received 1 Goblin of Fire Character Card
You have received 1 Goblin of Earth Character Card
You have received 1 Goblin of Metal Character Card
You have received 1 Goblin of Water Character Card
You have received 1 Goblin of Wood Character Card

Equip either the Goblin of Fire, or the Goblin of Metal and defeat the Wood Elementalist 3 times.

Wood Elementalist

Oh! Look at me! I'm a mess. So many broken stems poking out everywhere... I'd better head back to my hut and prune myself a bit.
You're more skilled than I thought you would be, but the Fire Elementalist will singe your leaves for sure.
The only time I've seen him even come close to losing is when Earth and Water teamed up against him.
Prove you are worthy by collecting 3 Fire Elementalists

Second Objective

Second Objective - Conclusion

Fire Elementalist

What! It had to be cheating, blast you! No one defeats my flaming fists.
Go on, go on, get out of here before I demand a rematch.
The Water Elementalist is waiting for you. It would amuse me to see her own waves splash back in her face, so remember: even the mighty river is bounded by hills and trees.

Earth Elementalist

Yes, I was right to have faith in you when you arrived here.
You have shown a keen understanding of how to use the elemental powers to your advantage, and so it is that I will send you on to your next challenge with the Metal Elementalist. He is living proof that man is nothing without his alloys, heh heh, but you'll do just fine if you strike while the iron is hot or rust out his defenses.
