Challenge cards allow the players to encounter Character cards in MythMonger.

Each turn will use up one challenge card (also known as an attractor card) and will lead to an encounter with a character card.

Equipping different kinds of challenge cards at a location will attract different kinds of characters.

The currently equipped challenge card is shown in the top right of the screen beside the Play! button. You can click this card to view your inventory of challenge cards.

The various kinds of challenge cards currently known are:

  • General Challenge Card
  • Faction Challenge Card (FCC)
  • Specialty Challenge Card
  1. East Core Mines - Tier 1 Challenge Card (T1CC)
  2. East Core Mines - Tier 2 Challenge Card (T2CC)
  3. East Core Mines - Tier 3 Challenge Card (T3CC)
  4. East Core Mines - Tier 4 Challenge Card (T4CC)
  5. East Core Mines - Tier 5 Challenge Card (T5CC)
  6. East Core Mines - Tier 6 Challenge Card (T6CC)
  7. East Core Mines - Tier 7 Challenge Card (T7CC)
  8. East Core Mines - Tier 8 Challenge Card (T8CC)

Challenge cards can be armed and disarmed in your Inventory.

If the player runs out of challenge cards, he or she will need to find the nearest shop and buy some more, after selling character cards from the inventory for coins if necessary.

If there is no shop in the player's current location, he or she needs to travel to a city that has a shop.

Travel is possible even if the player doesn't have coins and has run out of challenge cards. Such players should choose the option to queue travel for the specified number of turns, although they will not be able to have encounters or collect any cards until they obtain more challenge cards.
